Lo-Cal Libations: My 180 Calorie Pomegranate Margarita

Pomegranate Margarita

 

At the end of a long day, what’s better than a nice cocktail? How about one that’s low in calories and has a boost of antioxidants.

Here’s a tasty recipe for a 180 Calorie Pomegranate Margarita – sure to make you feel good and keep your waistline slim!

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

– 1.5 oz. (or one shot) Silver Tequila (My favorite is Patron Silver.)

– 2 tsp Agave Nectar

– 2 oz. Simply Limeade

– 2 oz. POM Juice

– A splash of soda water

– A lime slice and salt, for rimming glass (optional)

 

LET’S BEGIN:

Gather ingredients.

Margarita Ingredients

 

Put ice into cocktail shaker.

Pour tequila, limeade, POM juice and agave nectar into shaker. Shake thoroughly.

Margarita Shaker

 

Rim margarita glass with salt. Place lime on side of glass for garnish.

Pour drink into margarita glass. Add a splash of club soda and drink up!

Pomegranate Margarita
