Consume Yourself: Protein-Packed Egg & Cheese Sandwich

Egg And Cheese Sandwich

All our lives, we’ve been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well, it’s true. A protein-filled breakfast will help to keep you fuller longer and give you enough energy to breeze through the morning.

Kerri and I like to start the day with homemade Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches. Our recipe is simple, quick and contains enough protein (25 grams) to keep us satisfied until lunchtime.

– 3 Eggs

– A splash of Milk

– 4 slices of Food for Life 7 Sprouted Grains Bread

– 1 cup of fresh Spinach

– 2 oz. Sharp Cheddar Cheese (about 8 rectangular slices)

– Olive Oil Cooking Spray

**This recipe makes 2 sandwiches.

Gather ingredients.

Add eggs and a splash of milk together in a small bowl.

For extra protein, you can always add your favorite breakfast meat to the sandwich. We prefer Morningstar Farms Original Sausage Patties on ours.

If you’re not usually a breakfast eater, hopefully this recipe will inspire you to become one!
